Data Recovery
A few months ago we had a major crash at work. Our mail server "bit it" (a technical term) and we lost our archived mail for several weeks. Luckily, through hours of tedious research and several thousand dollars later, Dane was able to restore almost all of our emails.
This brings up an important point, hard drives crash. It's a fact of life. If you're not prepared you could have "poked the proverbial pooch".
That's why I was kinda stoked to see Dane had put together a new blog called simply, Data Recovery Blog.
He's already got snippits and links to articles on how to restore lost email from a crashed exchange server, a data recovery service that brings your backup machine to you, and Norton Ghost.
He's also got listings of books and things you can check out.
