Local News: Jail Turning Away Inmates

Jeez. This could ONLY happen in Modesto.

Modesto Bee: "Three times, Salvador Rivera tried to turn himself into the Stanislaus County Men's Jail.

The first two times, the 21-year-old Modesto man was turned away because he allegedly didn't show up with the proper paperwork — a court-issued 'minute order' verifying the convicted drunken driver belonged behind bars."
