Containing Floats

So you've been trying to get the hang of this "css thing" but you're having all kinds of problems. You're using FLOAT but for some reason your layout keeps crashing down around you. Eric Meyer wrote the book on CSS (he actually wrote a bunch of different ones) and here he explains how to contain the floats in a layout.

This is very good if you've been having problems with CSS and even if you haven't been, there's an interesting work-around using the horizontal rule (HR) tag. Take a look.
