The Thing That Sucked the Most at Bloggercon

I was only able to attend 4 sessions of the 12. Depressing ain’t it?

I’d have loved to get in on the other sessions just because I feel there was so much to get out of it. Well, atleast I was able to review the IRC channel logs and, hopefully, I’ll be able to listen to the podcasts.

Overall though, it was a lot of fun (see previous posts for comments and happenings.)

Live from Bloggercon

It’s the break at bloggercon before Adam Curry’s Podcasting session and the place is packed. If you get the chance to go to Bloggercon then I recommend you definitely take it. Awesome. More to come.

Blogger Con Notes Part 1

Good morning! It is 4:56am, Saturday November the 6th. Today is Blogger Con. In just a litle bit I’m going to head over to get Dane Carlson, then we’re off to Palo Alto.

It’s going to be a fun morning. Apple just pushed a 13mb upgrade for OS X to OS X 10.3.6 so everyone who has been stuck in a hotel without the internet is going to find themself downloading a huge upgrade. Sitting here in my room at 100mbps it only took about 20 minutes but download and install but with 190 people and a 54mbps connection? Ouch.

Meet Me at Bloggercon

Oh! Speaking of Bloggercon (see previous post), if you’re going to Bloggercon and you’re interested in hanging out give me a shout. (decode my email address: loydatdailythingdotcom) I’ll be the guy with the REALLY HUGE head. HUGE. Kinda like Sputnik. Quite round but pointy in parts. Ok, enough of the So I Married and Axe Murderer jokes. Look me up if you’re going. I’m also going to turn on iChat on the Mac and Rendesvouz.

We’re there dude!

Looking through the list of people registered for Bloggercon III and I came across something strange. I’m on the list!!

Yes. Dane convinced me that I should go and that I would enjoy it so….I’m going.

I guess that means I’ll be doing a little more spring cleaning around here and setting up a profile for the other bloggers. I’m actually looking forward to sitting in a room full of other Mac users testing Rendevouz. I think I’ll set up a special pointer site on my local machine so people can find me easier. I do plan on blogging from the conference btw.
